OMHA Game 5 Saturday @ 2:30pm!!
The Atom Rep team is playing in Game 5 of their opening round series against Tavistock on Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm. Let's get everyone out to the game to support the Wildcats as they try and advance to the next round of the OMHA Playdowns.
Its been a great series so far between the 2 teams. Tavistock jumped out to an early 1-0 series lead with an 8-2 win a week ago Tuesday. Waterford then fought back with a great come from behind victory on home ice. Trailing 5-2 late in the 2nd period, Waterford scored 4 unanswered goals to take a 6-5 lead before Tavistock tied it up late. In OT, Waterford prevailed to tie the series up at 1-1. On Monday night in Waterford, the team skated to a convincing 9-3 win to take a 2-1 series lead. The next night in Tavistock, a very close game ended up in a 3-2 Tavistock win that lead us to the deciding Game 5 on Saturday.
Let's bring some Wildcat Pride to the arena on Saturday. Let's show the boys that we are behind them...make signs, bring noisemakers and bring your friends and family out on Saturday and cheer them on to victory!!
