Important Updates from President
Submitted By Sherri Graham on Friday, February 15, 2019
I apologize for the short notice. Due to a couple of issues, meeting times have been changed.

Please see Rest of the Article for details.

Our AGM to be held Tuesday Feb 19 at 7:30 Waterford arena. (as agenda posted)
Our Norfolk Rep Amalgamation vote is Monday Feb. 25  2019 at 7:30pm Waterford arena. Note: This is a full Amalgamation, should full amalgamation be approved, NHMA will be the recognized body through OMHA. WDMHA will operate under the umbrella of Norfolk Minor Hockey in which plans will made to continue with a local system that reflects the current operations in place today while looking to recognize the benefits of a full amalgamation. (proposal previously posted)

Voting: Must be an active member in good standing, parent /guardian and Honorary lifetime member that can vote. Max 2 votes per family. Private Ballot vote, counted by OMHA rep. If  the amalgamation is approved, there would be some final business steps involved which includes New Director positions that would represent the voices of the former WDMHA and its members and that these positions (along with 4 from Dover and 4 from Simcoe) would carry the full voting power on decisions in the new NMHA. Discussion will be held before vote to clairify Proposal. OMHA representives and Norfolk Minor Hockey Board Representives will be present at meeting. Hope to see you at the meetings.

Thanks and have a great Family day weekend
President WDMHA
Dwayne Schira
