Game 1 was a 'nail-biter'. Ties 3-3 after 3, this first game went into period 4.  In the final minutes of the 4th period, Waterford pocketed the game winning goal, closing out game 1 with a score of 4 to 3 for Waterford.

Game 2 brought out the best of both teams. Waterford was ahead 3 to 1 near the end of the 3rd period. Dover called a time-out and rallied their players. Their strategy paid off as the team netted 2 goals to tie the game 3-3, sending game 2 into a repeat event of game 1.
