We are pleased to inform all that Hockey Registration will be opening this week (week of July 19)- so get ready!!
For those families that are
registering for the first time this season, our registration process has changed slightly for you. You are now required to complete the Respect in Sport (online program) in advance of registration. This process will create the necessary file in the Hockey Canada Program which is necessary to allow you to register. There is a cost to complete the respect in sport program ($11 or $12) however this certificate is used to support families/players across many other sports programs (hockey, baseball, soccer, etc).
Details on how to complete the Respect in Sport program and create your player file can be found within this walk-through document:
Respect_in_Sports_Walkthrough_for_Parents_(OMHA)_(1).pdf
For Parents with an existing Respect in Sport Certificate having a new player registering for Hockey this season, please note that you have to ADD this new player in the Respect in Sport Program and LINK them to your Respect in Sport Certificate
BEFORE trying to register them. How to link a player to your certificate can be found here:
RIS_-_How_to_Link_a_Child.pdf
For all returning families and players:
Hockey Canada has moved the registration process to a new platform this season. To improve the registration process and avoid issues with late/delinquent payments, the online process supports credit card payment only. We do encourage payment by e-transfer however. To register and pay with e-transfer, the e-transfer payment must be sent and received as a first step - followed by an email with the players details - that is it. Steps on making an e-transfer payment can be found here:
