EXISTING PLAYERS THAT HAVE MOVED INTO THE WATERFORD AREA OR
THAT are simply choosing to be a Waterford Wildcat!

Players that have recently moved into the Waterford area need to contact the Registrar at [email protected] PRIOR to attempting registration.  You will need to provide your full name and date of birth OR Hockey Canada ID number so that your file may be located in the Hockey Canada Registration system. A residential move application may required in some cases and can take 4 to 6 weeks to process, so please plan ahead.

NEW PLAYERS TO HOCKEY
If you and your player are new to hockey you will need to complete a few extra steps prior to completing your registration.

Step 1: One parent/guardian must complete the online Respect in Sport (RIS) Program. This is an online program and costs $12.00 to complete. Only one RIS needs to be completed for a family. Players will then be linked to the RIS certificate. This step needs to be completed first as the process also creates your player Hockey Canada Profile.  Details are provided here: Respect_in_Sports_Walkthrough_for_Parents_(OMHA)_(1).pdf

Step 2: You will need to email a copy of your player(s) birth certificate to the Registrar at: [email protected]  The certificate will be uploaded to their Hockey Canada profile.

Step 3: You will be advised when Step 2 is completed and you can then proceed to register your player online.

HOW YOUR REGISTRATION $ BREAKDOWN (U9 and above)
(Feel free to compare our programming to other centres and please pay attention to the total ice hours your player will be/can be on the ice)

50% of your registration fee = Practice and Development (Approximately 40 hours on the ice LEARNING)
35% of your registration fee = Game Play (Approx. 30 hours on the ice; 50% home/50% away - PLAYING)
15% of your registration fee = Apparel, Insurance, OMHA setup, certifications

Collectively players have the ability to be on the ice up to 70 hours over the 20 week game play season (excluding the warm-up and team selection period). That's a minimum of 3.5 hours on ice per week; excluding tournaments and play-offs.
